This restaurant can get busy so it was a little noisy at times but you expect that. Food was lovely and came out in an acceptable timeframe. Wait staff were very obliging and pleasant although quite softly spoken so it was hard to hear them at times. I was unsure if they had understood the order and we had to clarify that. All in all a very pleasant relaxing venue.

A huge thank you goes out to the team at Barcella Cafe & Bar in Victoria Point for their outstanding food and atmosphere during our Thunderbolt Run Brisbane Takeover event. With over 50 Supercars and 90 people, we had breakfast and lunch at Barcella, and were extremely pleased with their service and quality of food. Vijay, the business owner, was tremendously helpful and accommodating throughout the entire organizing process. We highly recommend Barcella Restaurant for any event and look forward to returning. Thank you again to the amazing team at Barcella!

We went to Barcella to celebrate our neighbour's birthday. The menu had a lot of tasty options and the drinks menu was great. The five of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals and finished off with coffees and delicious slices. The waitress brought out a mini pear tart with a lit candle singing, 'Happy Birthday...' This is a nice restaurant on the lake. We had dinner here for my father in-laws birthday. We all enjoyed our meals and they were good size portions. After dinner, the lovely waitresses were so kind and came out with a surprise piece of cake singing happy birthday. It was really sweet of them. Thank you 😊

My partner wanted to get some lunch meal but they were happy to cook that for him. Also they did some birthday decoration on desert for my partner. There is not much enough heaters and it was a little bit cold outside area. But staff members are all lovely and friendly. Awesome customer service.

Had a table of ten for lunch and every meal was done well. My 300 gram steak and veg was done perfectly as was the wife's salmon. The standout though was the service. The staff were quick and polite and the owner personally attended the table a number of times to ensure everything was perfect. Felt like saying goodbye to a friend by the time we left and we will be back for sure.

We ordered Uber eats as we just bought a house in raby bay and the food was disgusting and got chips on the side and there was like 10chips.The lamb shank had no flavour and was hard as a rock

Part medium as ordered other thinner parts were well done.Pork belly was pretty good. Nothing to write home about.Presentation/plating/quality would be described as uninspired pub style at best. Would I spend $90 for 2 mains and 1 drink here again knowing what I know now… probably not.

What a nice spot. It's our first time in the area. I love the lake right beside the restaurant. You can see turtles swimming from the restaurant deck. It is a lovely setting.Staff are very friendly and they show a lot of love to the dogs. A lady had brought a bowl of water as soon as we had sat down. They made us feel very welcome.The food was lovely, and portions are just right. I had the flamenco eggs and was really satisfied. The food is not expensive, either. For the two of us, we had a non-alcoholic drink and main meal each, which came to approx $70 total. It is a great spot for breakfast or lunch.

Celebrated my Mum's 80th Birthday at Barcella with 22 guests on Saturday. From the start they were extremely helpful. They listened and catered for guests with allergies. Food was exceptional everyone at the party loved it. Service was outstanding. Helped cut the cake. Best of all allowed us to have a close friend play the bagpipes for my mum as a special treat. Highly recommend the restaurant.

We had a wonderful birthday lunch for one of our work colleagues yesterday. The food was beautiful as always. Staff are adoreable and the setting was beautiful.We also enjoy our weekly meeting a Thursday morning. We just love Barcella, the staff and owners.

What is interesting... Around the same time I visited this place, a few other reviewers did as well, same meal, and they raved. Mine was ordinary. The meals themselves were flavourless, and, as you can see by my photos, not much to look at as well.I have been here for dinner once and it was amazing, but obviously, breakfast can be a bit hit and miss.Unfortunately, they missed today.Disappointed... Very pleasantly surprised by this gem. Great service, great food, will definitely become a regular spot of ours. They take care in how everything looks- I should have taken a picture it was all so pretty. Will bring our kids back as their kids menu and mocktails look fun. owner was lovely and lots of gluten free options too :) We recommend their buttermilk calamari, was so soft.

We were a group of 4 for lunch. Service was abysmal! Staff were pleasant but totally inattentive. We were initially uncertain if there was table service as no one appeared at our table to take orders for some time.The restaurant was not busy but drinks took an inordinate time to arrive. In fact, one of our group collected our glasses of wine from the counter. The bottle of water order was totally forgotten.The food itself was nice and well presented. The lakeside position is very pleasant. The dishes, once the meals were finished, were not collected from the table. Dishes from patrons who left at the time we arrived, were still on their table when we left some 2 and a half hours later. We had shifted our dirty dishes to that table when it seemed they were not going to be removed.The restaurant was totally let down by the staff who, although very pleasant, needed some skilling up in providing appropriate service. It was disappointing as the potential is definitely there with the location and the food.
